About the Author
D. Duane Cummins is visiting scholar in history at Johns Hopkins University and has served as interim president at Brite Divinity School. He is president emeritus of Bethany College in West Virginia, former president of the Division of Higher Education for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and author of several history books.

Membership Material

I was seeking materials/curriculum for an adult membership class when I found this book on Amazon. It was perfect for an adult who was seeking baptism and membership into my congregation. And, I found the book adequate for sermon references as well. I highly recommend the book to anyone seeking to know more about our Disciples denomination.
