About the Author
Edward Hoffman is a leading scholar in humanistic psychology, and has been writing and lecturing on topics related to emotional well-being, higher motivation, and spirituality for more than 30 years. He is an Adjunct Associate Psychology Professor at Yeshiva University in New York City, where he created its popular course on positive psychology. A senior editor of the Journal of Humanistic Psychology, Dr. Hoffman received his degrees from Cornell University and the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

I have a course this fall called "Jigs and Fixtures" in the Drafting program I'm enrolled in at the local Tech College. There is no textbook required for this class, just handouts, but I learned in last year's courses that I needed more information than I was getting in order to do as well as I wanted to. I have found about a dozen older textbooks for $5.00 or less on Amazon that helped me maintain straight A's in other classes, and get on the Dean's list every semester last year. I am confident this book will help me do the same this fall. My knowledge of this subject is minimal, but after reading this book through, I have gained enough information that I won't be caught off guard and potentially fall behind when I begin my "Jigs and Fixtures" course work in August.
